    As social media and internet usage have increased in Nepal, many companies have resorted to digital marketing as a means of reaching a wider audience. This case study examines the strategies employed by three Nepali businesses—the e-commerce behemoth Daraz Nepal, the homegrown bakery SweetFix Nepal, and the recruitment platform MeroJob—to achieve remarkable growth, enhance user engagement, and boost sales through digital tactics. Localized content, influencer collaborations, and targeted social media advertising were all part of the campaigns. Increased revenue, brand awareness, and customer acquisition were among the outcomes.

     

    Introduction:

    Over the past ten years, digital marketing in Nepal has rapidly changed. Platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok are being used by businesses to engage with their target audiences. This case study examines how three businesses overcame obstacles in their operations and attained quantifiable success by utilizing customized digital marketing strategies.

    Despite growing online audiences, many Nepalese businesses struggled to convert digital presence into real customer engagement and sales. Challenges included:

    • Action: Multi-platform push (YouTube, TikTok, Facebook) with countdowns, influencer promos, and flash sale teasers.
